Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I have always been one to speak my mind, and my mind is always running at speeds that would land me a ticket in the physical realm. I am more of a literal person, which I am learning may not be the norm. I often get accused of “twisting” other’s words, when in reality I am defining the essence of what they actually said. It turns out most people don’t actually say what they mean, but they mean what they think they are saying. This is extremely frustrating for me, for I am among what seems to be a minority of people that actually says what they mean. Am I wrong for expecting the same in return? Am I just too literal? Does the world run on some sort of psychic, uneducated plane, that I wasn’t invited to? Is up really down simply because you meant it to be?
